From the Owner, Dan Bullinger
I grew up at Olympic Truck Service, going on service calls with my dad from a young age. When I turned 14, I officially started working at the shop as a clean-up kid. At age 18, I graduated from Bates Technical College with my associate degree in Diesel and Heavy Equipment and began working as a truck repair technician. Through the years, I also helped in different roles at the shop, such as shop foreman and ordering parts.
In 2013, I left Olympic Truck Service to work at a local Freightliner dealership as a truck repair technician. While there, I became fully factory trained in Cummins and Detroit engines and Freightliner chassis. I was also on the Change Management Team, which was responsible for reviewing issues and coming up with solutions for them. After working at Freightliner for five years, I decided to return to the family business and buy 90% from my dad. Since then, I have been using the skills and strategies I learned at the dealership to take Olympic Truck Service to the next level.
